Spring ’20 Research Studio + Seminar
CITYFOOD Research Studio + Seminar launched. Today, thirteen graduate students met online for the first session of the research studio and complimentary seminar course led by Professor Gundula Proksch and Professor Robert Pena. Building on the research conducted by the CITYFOOD team, the students will explore new building typologies with hybrid programming strategies, which redefined the intersection between the built environment and food systems. This innovative studio will envision how aquaponic agriculture could be integrated into cities. Due to COVID-19 stay-at-home order, the entire course sequence will be taught remotely.
