Bryant Callahan holds B.A. degrees in Psychology, English, & Theology from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Design Technology in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington. Originally from rural Indiana, Bryant grew up working at a local farm which introduced him to the idea of sustainable agriculture. After deciding to pursue a career in architecture, Bryant took some design computing courses, which provided the opportunity to see how his passion for architecture closely related to agriculture within the growing field of urban agriculture. He is currently pursuing thesis work related to zero-acreage farming in building-related agriculture and plans to expand on this work in the MS Design Technology program.
