Margot Turek
Margot Turek holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Puget Sound and Master of Architecture from the University of Washington College of Built Environments. Margot was born in the Anderlecht neighborhood of Brussels and grew up in Chicago. She recognizes the privilege of this multinational upbringing and varied personal experiences of European and American architecture and urban design in shaping her interest in both natural and built environments. Today, Margot calls the Pacific Northwest home after living in the Seattle-Tacoma area for the past six years. She is thrilled to join the CCLS lab team and pursue transdisciplinary research interests in urban design, alternative food systems, and local circular economies in the context of sustainable urbanism.
