The CCLS is currently collaborating with the Global Sustainability Scholars program.
In 2019, the team was happy to host nine Global Sustainability Scholars and two Global Sustainability Fellows from various higher education institutions around the United States. In four days, the group got to explore the Food-Water-Energy nexus around Seattle through visits with subject matter experts, ranging from a salmon hatchery to an industrial-scale food distribution center.
CITYFOOD would like to thank the following organizations around the Puget Sound area for making this experience insightful and memorable:
- Waterlines project
- Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery
- King County South Treatment Plant
- Bullitt Center
- The Integrated Design Lab
- Friends of Waterfront Seattle
